Interesting vacancy in a hotel in Lapland, Finland!
We are seeking an experienced night receptionist to join our company. You will be stationed at the main entrance desk and will handle customer inquiries. You will have a charismatic character towards our guests.
Night Receptionist responsibilities are:
- Greeting customers upon entering,
- Assisting customers with queries/complaints,
- Making relevant suggestions,
- Answering phone calls and making reservations,
- Helping to arrange transportation for guests,
- Billing and cash handling,
- Cleaning common areas.
Requirements for a candidate for this position:
- Experience as a Hotel Receptionist,
- Fluent in spoken and written English,
- Excellent customer service skills,
- Knowledge of the hospitality industry,
- Familiar with hotel software,
- Effective communication skills,
- BA/BSc in Hospitality, Business or a related field,
- Fluent in spoken and written English,
- Stand for an extended period of time.
An added advantage to candidates with the following skills:
- Speak other languages: Finnish, Chinese, Japanese, German, Spanish, or French,
- Experience working with hotel software,
- A valid category B driver’s license,
- Has knowledge of the local area.

Salary in Finland:
We provide at least 90 working hours in a 3-week period.
The working season is from November to the end of March.
Hourly pay is negotiated in the interview, according to knowledge and experience. Other benefits according to the collective labor agreement.
Living in Finland:
If necessary, we provide accommodation in a shared apartment for 250.00 EUR/month.
